Do you love the orchestra? Are you also a pop culture addict who can’t get enough of your favorite theme songs? Then there’s an event designed almost specifically for you.
The Florida Orchestra brings its renowned and hugely popular Pops in the Park event to Tampa on October 20 from 7-9pm. TFO will perform live at River Tower Park, which is located at 401 East Bird Street.
This special free performance features film scores, Broadway hits and symphonic favorites. Guests are encouraged to bring plenty of canned goods for Tampa Bay Harvest.
TFO is also putting on a free performance at Armature Works on October 30. Eat, Drink and Be Scary will be a special happy hour concert featuring bewitching favorites like Saint-Saens’ Danse Macabre and Mussorgsky’s Night on Bald Mountain.
That performance will run from 6:30-7:30pm. Don’t forget to indulge in the delicious restaurants at Armature Works while you’re there. Cress, a healthy salad spot, and Pane Rustica, an irresistible bakery, both just opened in the food hall. There’s also a brand new outdoor oyster bar called Stones Throw worth visiting.
Armature Works is located at 1910 North Ola Avenue.
