Here’s something to keep on your radar for 2020: Jotoro. The anticipated tequila bar will join an already boisterous collection of food and drink hubs at the eclectic Sparkman Wharf.
The concept is driven by Michelin star Chef Joe Isidori.
The full-service, 220-seat eatery will focus on “Fine Mexican Provisions.” In addition, guests can expect global inspirations from the New York City based chef.
Backed by a Michelin star chef
The bar menu will be highlighted by hand-shaken cocktails, craft-batched margaritas, and tequila flights. Located in the prime street front corner at the entrance of the Sparkman Wharf park, the new interior will feature a rustic, industrial chic décor with indoor and outdoor seating.
This isn’t the only debut worth keeping an eye on.
Free the Cork, a new wine bar, will offer over 150 wines by the bottle and 50+ wines by the glass from around the world.
Guests will enjoy a menu crafted by chef Nelson Perkins – known for his extensive French culinary training and successful Denver restaurant Colt & Gray.
Private room for events
A central bar surrounded by luxurious seating will assuredly be a popular hub for guests.
Free the Cork Wine Bar will also offer a private room to host intimate events, wine tastings, and special wine-pairing dinners.
The “grab and go” window will serve wines by glass and bottle, craft beer, European-style sandwiches, cheese and charcuterie, breakfast biscuits, coffee, and more for those exploring Tampa’s beautiful Riverwalk.
