Tampa’s newest taco shop lives up to the hype

Ciccio’s latest Tampa endeavor, Taco Dirty, weds the best aspects of Fresh Kitchen and Green Lemon in restaurant matrimony. It’s quick, it’s relatively cheap and you can go healthy or hearty as you wish.

Vegan and gluten-free options populate the menu

For starters, seriously packed protein bowls. You can choose from bases like red quinoa, black beans and avocado rice, vegan black beans and, our personal favorite, avocado citrus rice.

Veggie toppings include sweet potato hash, citrus Brussel sprouts and sautéed mushrooms. The proteins are the main event. We go for the crispy gluten-free fried chicken piece poblano pesto tofu or the grilled (AF) steak.

Give any entree a kick with vegan lime jalapeno sour cream, grilled pineapple onion salad, rojo radish or salted lime tortilla strips.

Wrap your favorite ingredients in soft quesadillas

You can stuff all of the ingredients in a smorgasbord of tacos, or wrap ’em tight in soft quesadillas.

Single tacos cost just $2.80 and a packed bowl runs just $8.88. We’re happy dining anywhere where we don’t have to break a Hamilton.

Like all the other Ciccio foodie spots, the food at Taco Dirty is supremely ‘grammable.

Taco Dirty brings breakfast tacos to Tampa

On weekends diners can add eggs to their bowls, tacos and quesadillas. After a trip to Austin, we’re happy to see another spot in Tampa Bay get in in on the breakfast taco game.

Did we mention the Froze? Yea, it’s certainly worth sipping on, just like the vibrant purple and blue soda frescas. Taco Dirty also offers a squeezed juice horchata perfect when you’re looking to spice up your order.

When is Taco Dirty open? Taco Dirty is open 11am-10pm Monday-Saturday, 11am-9pm on Sunday.
