The 2026 FIFA World Cup is finally here! It’s the biggest sporting event in the world, and it kicks off this Thursday with North America (Canada, Mexico and the United States) hosting for the first time in more than 30 years.

Tampa is a massive sports city, so of course, we’ve put together a list of some of our favorite sports bars and restaurants to catch the action all summer. This certainly isn’t a definitive list of all the places showing the games. These are just some of our favorite spots to watch soccer in town over the years. Meanwhile, we also recommend checking out the region’s biggest Team USA watch parties, all taking place at iconic venues in Downtown St. Pete.

The World Cup runs June 11 through July 19. Here are some of our favorite sports bars to catch World Cup games in Tampa!

MacDinton’s Irish Pub Soho

One of my personal favorite places to watch soccer is MacDinton’s. They are home to the Gulf Coast Gooners, an Arsenal fan group that meets to watch games together. The vibe is always good at MacDinton’s, especially if you’re looking for a rowdier group of fans to watch soccer with. Plus, they serve Guinness and the food is severely underrated.

Yeoman’s Cask & Lion

Where better to watch some soccer than at an English-themed restaurant and bar? With lots of TVs, two full bars, and tasty English food, you’ll be ready to watch all your favorite players represent their countries. With spacious seating and standing, Yeoman’s is a great option for big groups and families. Plus, they are one of the few places that do a good English fish and chips!

Another amazing Irish pub is Maloney’s Local. In the heart of the Channel District, Maloney’s has good vibes, amazing drink and food options, and an incredible viewing experience with both indoor and outdoor seating. For those living in downtown Tampa, this might be your go-to spot for all your World Cup needs.

Looking for a pure, uninterrupted fan experience? Topshelf Sports Lounge in downtown Tampa is a local favorite, and consistently gets listed as one of the best sports bars in the Tampa area.
