On July 28, Tampa made history by setting the world record for the longest Cuban sandwich outside the Buccaneer’s practice facility. Volunteers, chefs, and organizers collaborated to create a massive sandwich measuring an impressive 365.9 feet in length, surpassing the previous record set by festival organizers in Kissimmee.
The colossal sandwich was cut into portions and could feed around 750 people, according to the team behind the Cuban Sandwich Fest. In a generous act of community support, the sandwich was donated to New Beginnings Tampa, an organization dedicated to helping those in need.

The event was organized by FORD International, which is now gearing up for its next major event, the Hispanic Heritage Taste of Latino Food Festival. This festival is scheduled to take place outside Centennial Park on October 20, promising to celebrate Hispanic culture and cuisine with a variety of delicious offerings.
