No surprises here: Tampa International Airport just ranked as one of the best airports in America for queuing times. To discover which airports are the best and worst for queueing times, Casago analyzed passenger reviews from airlinequality.com, where each review gave queueing times a rating between 1 and 5 stars.
Individual airports and countries were separately ranked on having the highest percentage of reviews for airport queuing times with a 4 or 5 star rating.

U.S. airports dominate the results, with four among the world’s best for queuing: Southwest Florida Intl. Airport (66.67%), Portland Intl. Airport (61.29%), Detroit Metro Airport (57.89%) and Tampa Intl. Airport (57.45%).
Overall, Singapore Airport took the crown as the best airport in the world for queuing times and passenger satisfaction.
TPA has implemented new efficiencies in pre-security to help passengers get to their terminals. Blue express lanes for arrivals/departures without checked bags have helped ease congestion. Ample things to do pre-security (such as taking a selfie with Phoebe the Flamingo) have also incentivized passengers to arrive early, which also helps with the overall airport experience.
