It’s seafood season in the city of Tampa. Well, it’s always that season here we suppose, but summer has a way of charging our appetite for oysters, clam strips and lobster rolls. It’s a lot easier to satisfy those cravings courtesy of the Heights’ newest restaurant, Stones Throw.
Self-described as a modernized seafood shack, Stones Throw offers a menu that’s short and simple. Expect fish tacos, sammies and hearty lobster rolls. Well butter us up why don’t you.

There will also be a raw bar that cycles in a different selection of oysters weekly.
What’s dinner without drinks? Prepare for spritzers and pretty impressive cocktail program. It’s walk-up counter service like many of the restaurants inside Armature Works. Diners will get to enjoy a dining area that directly overlooks the Riverwalk and Tampa’s skyline.
This news is complemented by the reminder that Urban Kai plans to open soon, too. The company will bring water activity rentals and a full line of accessories including apparel, footwear, paddle-boards and outdoor activity equipment to the north end of the Riverwalk.
