The Great Pumpkin Patch (6111 North Central Avenue) in Seminole Heights is back beginning October 4, and it’s bigger than ever. After a balmy summer we are so looking forward to slightly cooler nights in the city.

As one of the largest pumpkin patches in the Tampa Bay area, this seasonal favorite offers a stunning variety of pumpkins and gourds in all shapes and sizes. From classic Cinderella Pumpkins to unique Heirloom varieties, plus tiny spooky pumpkins and even elf houses, there’s something for everyone to discover.

The patch begins with set-up days on September 28 and October 2. Visitors can enjoy a special treat every Friday night with free outdoor movie screenings at 7:30pm. The lineup of family-friendly films includes:

  • October 6: It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown
  • October 13: Beetlejuice
  • October 20: Hotel Transylvania
  • October 27: Hocus Pocus

On October 6 at noon, the “Pets at the Patch” event invites furry friends to join in on the festivities. Young artists will have their chance to shine during the Kids Pumpkin Painting events on October 19 and 20.
