Chef and the Baker, an award-winning local market sensation, has officially opened its doors at 3413 South Manhattan Avenue in Tampa. The new bakery is the creation of culinary power couple Chef Rosana Rivera and Chef Ricardo Castro, who have brought their passion for French cuisine and pastries to life in their new venture.

“We’re thrilled to share our love for artisanal food with Tampa Bay, almost as much as our love for each other,” the owners wrote ahead of their grand opening. “And we are so excited that we’ll be able to share that with you SO SOON with our bakery at 3413 South Manhattan Avenue!”

Enjoy award-winning pastries in South Tampa

Chef Rosana Rivera gained national fame by defeating Bobby Flay on the Food Network with her signature empanadas, while Chef Ricardo Castro was featured on the Disney+ series “Foodtastic.” Together, they have created Chef and the Baker to bring their love of French-inspired pastries to the Tampa community.
