Tampa Bay now has a new hotspot for Japanese fluffcakes: Rose Gold Tea Labs

Rose Gold Tea Labs huge fluffy pancakes have been a huge hit on TikTok, Instagram, and just about everywhere else. The boba tea shop located at 5038 66th St North is a pink spectacle perfectly in line with a totally Barbie-fied Tampa area. The afformentioned fluff cakes, giant souflee pancakes, are available on Saturdays and Sundays, and now lines are forming around the block for the decadent and photogenic creations.

Kumo Fluffcakes are giant Japanese pancakes that measure about three inches thick. They take roughly 15 minutes to prepare, and guests are encouraged to enjoy them quick. Because they’re only available on weekends, the demand for the fluff cakes rises. So be patient, these treats are worth the wait. They’re open 11am – 7:30pm every Saturday and Sunday.
