The waterfront picnic in the park is one of Tampa’s dreamiest events

Roll back the clock a century and join the Henry Plant Museum for an old-fashioned picnic on Sunday, March 3 in Plant Park (401 W Kennedy Blvd). Attendees are encouraged to bring a blanket, pack a picnic basket, and invite family and friends to experience the pleasures of a simpler time. Honestly just going back to the University of Tampa makes me nostalgic for late aught walks to The Press Box and Boss Hogs.

Relax in the shade and enjoy continuous entertainment on Center Stage. Community partners will be in the park, including Tampa Regional Artists, The Humane Society of Tampa Bay, The Florida Aquarium, Arts4All Florida, The Wheelmen, and more.

  • Stilt walking with “Stilt Fun”
