North America’s tallest hybrid coaster, Iron Gwazi, launching in Spring 2020 at Busch Gardens

Get ready for some serious thrills in 2020, Tampa. Yes, at long last Iron Gwazi will launch at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. This wild roller coaster attraction is the most anticipated ride of the year, according to USA Today.

Park officials just revealed two new attractions coming to Adventure Island and Busch Gardens In 2020: Solar Vortex and Iron Gwazi.

Solar Vortex will be America’s first dual tail water slide. The slide will launch riders 20 miles per hour down a winding slide and will harness the power of the sun to provide a colorful trip down.

Iron Gwazi has been buzzed about for months. America’s tallest hybrid coaster is modeled after the endangered slender-snouted crocodile. So get ready to scream on the ride and then educate yourself afterward about Bush Gardens’ conservation efforts.

The roller coaster is 206 feet tall and features a nail-biting 91-degree drop. Do you have the guts to ride it?
