Where there’s smoke, there’s barbecue! Deviled Pig is opening soon at 13028 N. Dale Mabry. The new barbecue spot combines traditional roots, award-winning smoked meats, and Tampa-inspired sandwiches.
Award-winning pitmaster Lee Ann Whippen plans to whip up some of the best barbecue the bay has ever tasted, using everything from secret pig power rubs to blue ribbon sauces and signature sides. Whippen actually beat Iron Chef Bobby Flay on Food Network’s series Throwdown with Bobby Flay, where she created the winning smoked pulled pork sandwich.

Whippen also partners with Jennifer Daskevich, the 2013 World Sandwich Champion. Daskevich won this title with decadent sandwiches like her fried chicken with chipotle fig bacon jam and duck confit grilled cheese with fondue! (We’re already drooling.)
Deviled Pig will also bring their award-winning flavors directly to you. Special events catering, takeout, tailgating; you name it and they’ll be there. Deviled Pig promises to bring home the bacon!
