Neon Dreams Arcade is a paradise for casual and diehard gamers alike. It’s tucked away in a plaza in Largo at 11100 66th Street North. It’s an admission-based, play-all-day arcade focusing heavily on rhythm and fighting games.

“Now more than ever, people need a place to escape, to connect with like-minded people, and to have fun without the expectation of exorbitant cost,” write owners Dalls, Cody, and Kevarrius. “We specialize in imported Japanese rhythm and fighting games while making sure to have a variety for everyone to enjoy.”

My heart skipped three beats when I saw my own childhood favorite WrestleFest in the lineup. Other familiar games include Marvel vs Capcom, Street Fighter, Tekken, and Soul Caliber. This is a place to show up with friends or to find a community of folks who love to button mash as much as you do.

General admission is $15. Discounted rates are available for members of the Military and Students (with valid ID). Monthly memberships run $80 per month. That’s $80 for all the gaming your heart desires. The owners have put together some phenomenal community events including the popular Cars & Arcades show in the parking lot. tournaments are a huge part of the arcade experience, we recommend you visit the official event calendar, and follow them on Facebook/Instagram to keep up with the latest news.
