A slice of Old Florida could be coming to Seminole Heights this fall. Developers last week announced plans for Nebraska Roadside, an open-air food park and family-friendly entertainment destination located at 4815 N Nebraska Ave, the former location of Nebraska Mini Mart.
While details are scant for now, the team behind the new concept is promising unique food and drink concepts alongside activities and entertainment geared toward families. The plan calls for something akin to the roadside stops of Florida’s past, a place where you would meet others and may well see a line of campers in the parking lot.

“Think vintage 1960’s era roadside attraction meets family-friendly outdoor entertainment venue and food park,” Nebraska Roadside said on Instagram.
The concept will not only be housed at the same location once graced by Nebraska Mini Mart, but it will actually be partnering with the design and branding team behind the former burger star. Could this mean we see their return in some form?
Any news on concepts to be housed inside the new destination has yet to be announced, though the Orlando-based owner told Creative Loafing Tampa Bay that he plans to focus on local vendors.
Nebraska Roadside said it is targeting a fall 2026 opening. You can follow them on Instagram to keep up with the latest.
