Keel Farms will host a Watermelon Weekend event taking place June 24 and 25. The festivities will include local vendors, and tons of watermelon-infused recipes. Yes, this event includes a Watermelon Eating Contest.
This is a celebration of the summer watermelon harvest, the festival is presented by Keel Farms, Keel & Curley Winery, and Keel Farms Agrarian Ales and Ciders. The family-friendly event will feature the release of Keel Farms Agrarian Watermelon Cider, Watermelon Lager, Keel and Curley Watermelon Blush Wine and Strawberry Watermelon Wine. There will also be craft and food vendors and water slides provided by Rockin’ Bouncies.

On both days enjoy a DJ at the Garden Stage and live music on the Tasting Room Patio. Admission and parking are free of charge. This event is also pet-friendly, there will even be a food truck just for dogs.

Watermelons will be available for purchase, along with a variety of watermelon treats the whole family can enjoy.
“Our Watermelon Weekend was such a hit last year, we knew we had to bring it back,” said Clay Keel President of Keel Farms. “This year promises to be even better with more watermelon offerings and fun for the whole family.”
