Another bagel franchise has entered the chat. Central Florida-based Jeff’s Bagel Run is now open in the Brandon and Riverview area, bringing its viral breakfast experience to the neighborhood.
The cafe officially debuted with a soft opening on Wednesday, September 30, ahead of its grand opening on Friday, October 1. Jeff’s Bagel Run is located at 875 E Bloomingdale Avenue in Brandon, open from 6:30 am – 2 pm daily. This marks the second location to open in the company’s Tampa Bay Area expansion, following the South Tampa spot that opened in the winter.

Jeff’s Bagel Run is known for its scratch-made bagels, where all the bagels are made fresh in the shop and then boiled and baked throughout the day, rather than baking one large batch early in the morning. Guests can choose from a rotating selection of 16 bagel flavors, signature and seasonal cream cheese spreads, coffee, specialty beverages and more.
The menu features creative flavors like cacio e pepe, asiago everything, rosemary salt, and jalapeño cheddar, alongside classic options such as everything, poppy seed, and onion.
The Jeff’s legend has arrived in Tampa Bay
Jeff’s Bagel Run lives by a simple motto: always boiled, never toasted. The business started with a single shop in Ocoee, Florida, but before the brick-and-mortar location, co-owner Jeff Perera was delivering bagels door to door. Hence the name, Jeff’s Bagel Run.
According to the company, the concept began in 2016 when Jeff and Danielle Perera relocated to Central Florida and found themselves missing the boiled bite of a true New York bagel. By 2019, they decided to solve the problem themselves. Jeff baked. Danielle taste-tested. The rest is history.
In 2023, the shop earned national recognition when it was named one of America’s Best Bagels at NYC Bagelfest, adding even more buzz to its Tampa debut.
