Another bagel franchise has entered the chat. Florida-based Jeff’s Bagel Run is starting its new year with a significant Florida expansion. This expansion includes a Brandon/Riverview area store and two stores in Tampa established by siblings Delaney, Eric, and Matt Warters.
The expansion plans also include locations in Sarasota and cities in Central Florida.

The super popular boiled bagel shop is coming to Tampa Bay
Their motto: always boiled, never toasted. The business began with one shop in Ocoee, Florida. Before the brick-and-mortar, Co-owner Jeff Perera was delivering bagels door-to-door. Hence the name “Jeff’s Bagel Run.”
According to a release, the business idea began in 2016 when Jeff and Danielle Perera relocated to Central Florida and were missing the boiled flavor of a New York Bagel. In 2019, the couple became the solution to their problem and began experimenting with bagel recipes. Jeff baked. Danielle taste tested. The rest is history.
In 2023, the shop was honored as one of America’s Best Bagels at NYC Bagelfest – so this only increases our anticipation for its local debut.
We’ll update this story as specific details about opening dates and addresses are revealed. You can learn more on the shop’s website.
This news follows the anticipated 2025 debut of H&H Bagels in Tampa.
