New coffee shop from Hawaii opens islands-inspired cafe in Lutz

Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii, renowned for its top-notch Hawaiian brews and unforgettable café experiences, has opened its newest spot at 25195 FL State Road 54. Enjoy premium coffees with a punch, cool branded gear, and a delectable menu inspired by the flavors of Hawaii.

Local power couple Chris and Jillian Bruckner are the faces behind Bad Ass Coffee in Lutz. Having been part of Tampa’s economic surge since 2010, they’ve already contributed with four gas stations and three Taco Bus franchises. The Bruckners stumbled upon Bad Ass Coffee during a caffeine quest in Fort Myers, instantly enchanted by its Aloha vibes, branding, and unique flavors. Recognizing an opportunity, they’re set to bring quick, quality coffee to their community.

“My husband and I are small business people—we want to help employ individuals in our community and use our spaces to highlight the creations of other businesses in the area,” said Jillian. “Everyone knows that coffee brings people together, so it’s our hope that Bad Ass Coffee will be a magnet for our community. Bad Ass Coffee in Lutz is not just for our local coffee enthusiasts, but it’s also for tourists filling up with gas and people looking to connect with their neighbors. There’s something here for everyone, both on our menu and in the space we’ve curated that features multiple concepts.”

Bad Ass Coffee brings a taste of Hawaii to Tampa Bay

Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii offers an array of Hawaiian coffees, blended drinks, signature lattes, and more. Served on Kings Hawaiian® sweet bread, their Hawaiian-inspired menu complements a range of branded merchandise.
