Gallery Chophouse is one of the most unique restaurants to open in the city of Tampa. This restaurant, which opened in December 2021, marries fine dining and amazing craft cocktails, with an exqusite art gallery. Yes, the art is for sale. That’s So Tampa does not believe that good food and good art are mutually exclusive.
The menu is replete with prime steaks and other mouthwatering entrees such as Glazed Plank Salmon. This concept’s major claim to fame is its Signature 24k Gold Tomahawk steak dinner for two. The bartenders are well versed in a deep sake-infused cocktail menu.

Gallery Chophouse also features a rotating roster of international artists. Fine art, sculptures, prints, and more adorn the walls of this meticulously decorated venue. One recent 5-star review from Sharon H. lauded the restaurant for its commitment to local arts, and art history:
“The food was delish and the concept of showcasing local art for purchase along with some Dali and Peter Max was definitely different. One of the owners, Rick gave us the tour and his “art” was in the delectable cocktails he serves up.”
Gallery Chophouse is located at 14803 N Dale Mabry Highway. You can follow the restaurant on Facebook for glimpses inside the restaurant and art gallery.
Another recent guest, Tina R., celebrated the appetizers and cocktails.
“We started with drinks and an appetizer – the candied bacon. I’ve had it before when the bacon is VERY heavy and sweet – this was perfectly balanced. With a poached egg in the middle and crusty bread, it was amazing! We also loved the bread they serve – perfect in every way – sitting in olive oil and herbs, and we could tell the bread was made on-site.”
