Meat lovers, there’s something to get excited about in Tampa — and it’s named the Deviled Pig.
This concept has been marinating for a hot minute and it’s almost ready to debut. We’re talking about the Deviled Pig in South Tampa.
Champion is in this joint’s DNA
Owners Lee Ann Whippen, an award-winning pit master, and Jennifer Daskevich, the 2013 World Sandwich Champion, will serve meat with attitude. That history of sweet Q success looks to make the Deviled Pig a must visit spot when it grand opens in late October.
Stacks of pecan, hickory, white oak and cherry wood have arrived at the restaurant for their Ol Hickory Pits smoker. The mammoth machine smokes 1000 pounds of meat in a single session.
