Bulky smoothie bowl concept, Grain & Berry, opens in Brandon

These bowls run deep. Start with base of acai or pitaya, add a layer of granola, a bit of almond butter or coconut flakes on top mixed with sliced banana, blueberries and sliced kiwi. Are you drooling yet?. Grain & Berry makes our hearty and healthy dreams come true with their substantial bowls, and the restaurant is set to grow again with a new space at the Brandon Mall.

The grand opening for Grain & Berry’s mall spot is April 12. The Tampa Bay Times has named them the best bowl spot in the city, and we tend to agree. It’s as much a feast for the eyes as it is for your tastebuds. Seriously, these bowls were engineered for the age of Instagram and we’re so okay with it.

ROLL CALL! 🤩Which base is your favorite?

All the vitamins you need in one bowl

Grain & Berry’s menu includes a litany of toppings to build your own bowl. Bases include: Acai (acai and banana); Spirulina (bananas, pineapple, mango, spirulina, vanilla almond milk); Pitaya (playa, banana, pineapple); Kale (kale, banana, pineapple and almond milk); as well as oatmeal and yogurt bowls.

Don’t sleep on the yogurt banana splits. Those fruit filled banana boats with a bit of hemp seed are an indulgence you do not have to feel guilty about.

We’re going nuts for everyone’s favorite smoothie! 🍌Our Healthy Elvis smoothie is one of our best sellers. We make it with almond milk, banana, peanut butter, honey, and chocolate protein powder!

More shops coming in 2019

They’re not stopping at The Brandon Mall, either. Grain & Berry will open in Carrollwood at 1403 North Dale Mabry Highway later this year and another in South Tampa at 1155 South Dale Mabry Avenue. Another location is planned for downtown Tampa, though a specific address has yet to be revealed.

The Brandon Mall is located at 459 Brandon Town Center. Keep up with all the Grain & Berry news by following them on Facebook and Instagram. You can glimpse the menu on the smoothie bowl spot’s website.
