Barterhouse in Historic Ybor City first enchanted my taste buds with their sensational burnt cheesecake. I dream about that dessert every single day. The team has crafted one of the most exquisite craft cocktail menus in town, and the shareable flash fried Brussels sprouts are addicting. With so much going on on the menu, Barterhouse stands on its own merits as one of the best foodie destinations in the city. However, they always go a step beyond throughout the year with themed decorations. Currently, the restaurant/bar is decked out for the holidays and has transformed into The Blitz Inn.
Shining ornaments dangle from the ceilings. The massive windows are completely framed with string lights (both white and rainbow lights). Beautifully wrapped presents sway over the L-shaped bar, a cozy booth seats are wrapped with soft snow and blinking rainbow light strips.

Barterhouse aka The Blitz Inn also has a beautifully decorated Christmas tree by the front door, a garland wrapped archway leading to the bar, and a fun North Pole Sign Post with a snow flurry happening inside the lantern.
Savor signature holiday cocktails at The Blitz Inn
Signature holiday cocktails can be served inside Rudolph, Santa, and Frosty cups – though we also highly recommend the espresso martini. Special holiday drinks include the White Christmas (gin thin mint), Milk & Cookies (clarified bourbon milk punch), and The Pole Dancer (peppermint espresso martini).
Top entrees include the Crab Chilau with lump blue crab, Cacio E Pepe with shiitake mushrooms, the guava bbq pork shank, and the baby beet salad. If you happen to make it out for Sunday brunch, then treat yourself to the fresh Southern biscuit board, and the eggs sardou featuring fried avocado.
