From back rubs to bear mace – you can get it at Big Top
This festival-like flea market is so massive you could get lost – not a joke, we actually did get lost! Exploring the expansive “wings” of the flea market, bargain hunters will have their hands full.
In just a few steps at Big Top, you can negotiate over the price of a rug, buy a huge knife and sample some local honey. Wait, I’m not done – you can also get your hair braided, purchase a puppy, race Hot Wheels cars and get a fistful of kettle corn. Shoot, we even found a much needed vacuum belt for cheap – don’t ask.
Ok, but, take our word for it, if you can imagine it in your mind’s eye, you can probably find it at Big Top. The place is a Tampagorium’s Wonder Emporium of antique dolls, VHS tapes and portraits of lions.
Car shows, food drives and even open mic nights
Plus, thanks to the Florida heat, when you emerge from the tents of Big Top with your coveted artifact, you can feel like Indiana Jones emerging from a forbidden Mesoamerican cave.
Lastly, over the years, Big Top has served as an important gathering place for the community that includes a long record of successful food drives, car shows and open mic nights. We highly suggest taking a weekend stroll, there is truly something for everyone.
You can visit Big Top Flea Market at 9250 E Fowler Avenue Thonotosassa, Florida – about 20 minutes from the Downtown. The Market is open from 9am to 4:30pm Saturday and Sunday.
