Do you love the Riverwalk? That’s a rhetorical question. We all love the Riverwalk, and now there’s even more reason to show it. The Sail just revealed that Big Ray’s Fish Camp, a restaurant that serves one of the best grouper sandwiches in the area, will open its second location just outside the Tampa Convention Center on the Tampa Riverwalk this August.

Service will begin on August 9, according to a report by the Tampa Bay Business Journal, and a grand opening is planned for August 22. The debut is part of major renovations at the Sail Plaza, which included more shaded areas, expanded seating, and upgraded restrooms.

Big Rays offers big flavors. When you visit, you need to try the shrimp corndogs and grouper reuben. There’s no better dessert in the city than Big Rays FRIED Key Lime Pie. It’s a freaking revelation, and the exact fried dessert we never knew we needed.
