The Gasparilla Grand Marshall, Tampa native, and celebrated stand-up comedian Bert Kreischer has signed on to film two more Netflix specials. The news was first reported by Variety.
The first of the two specials will be filmed by Kreischer at the Mahaffey Theater in neighborhing St. Pete on July 6, according to Variety. This homecoming comes just one year after the comedian sold out Amalie Arena in February 2023. Tickets to the Netflix taping sold out in just 30 minutes during presale, according to an Instagram post by Kreisher. There will be shows at 7pm, and 9:30pm on July 5, and 7pm on July 6.

Kreischer will exec produce the new specials along with LeeAnn Kreischer, Judi Marmel, Tony Hernandez, Jeff Tomsic and Jordan Levy, writes Michael Schneider for Variety. Tomsic is also the director, while Kreischer’s Berty Boy Prods. is behind the specials.

Kresicher’s St. Pete performances will take place at The Mahaffey Theater (400 1st St SE). In total, Kreischer will host 4 shows between July 5 and 6. Tickets officially go on sale on February 2 and can be reserved on Mahaffey’s website.
Bert Kreischer’s career has evolved from being Rolling Stone’s 1997 “Number One Partier in the Nation,” to one of the top grossing stand-up comics in the business, and most recently, star of a major motion picture. According to Forbes, Kreischer has been hailed as, “one of the best storytellers of his generation, seamlessly and sincerely sharing anecdotes about his family and fatherhood while proving that there’s a way to take his [party-boy] antics into middle-age.”

In March 2023, Kreischer released his highly anticipated 5th stand-up special, Razzle Dazzle and his stand-up specials, Secret Time, The Machine, and Hey Big Boy are currently streaming on Netflix, as well.Razzle Dazzle has charted in the top 5 standup specials on Netflix and has been accompanied by at least one of his other three specials in the top 20 since its debut.
