A cult favorite pizza shop in Pinellas Park is on its way to Tampa. Anthony & Luca’s Pizza Kitchen is set to open a new location at 7032 W Waters Avenue, bringing its New York-style and New Jersey boardwalk-style pizzas and Philly cheesesteaks to Hillsborough.
The thin and crispy pizza is the main attraction at Anthony & Luca’s, but the Philly cheesesteaks may well be the most popular item on the menu. No matter which you order, they keep it as authentic as possible. The pizza dough is made in Brooklyn with New York water, while they also fly their Sarcone’s and Amoroso rolls in from Philadelphia for the cheesesteaks, which feature Cooper Sharp cheese and “the best ribeye money can buy.”

The New York-style pizza is the classic thin and foldable slice so loved in NYC. The Jersey boardwalk pies come the traditional way: cheese first, sauce on top. They also offer Sicilian-style deep dish. And no matter what pizza you get, it’s made with their Grande whole milk mozzarella and plum tomato marinara.
All together, Anthony & Luca’s is a taste of the northeast and Italy alike, an appropriate taste given that the founders were born and raised in South Philadelphia and Southern Jersey. The full menu also features crispy chicken wings, chicken cutlet sandwiches, and a variety of “Italian street food” options like calzones, arancini, pizza pockets, meatballs, fried ravioli and more.
The pizzas can be build-your-own, while there are around a dozen specialty pies available, such as Hot Honey Pepperoni, Chicken Cutlet Alla Vodka, Bacon mac & Cheese, Philly Cheesesteak, and the popular Piggy Figgy with fig jam, bacon, crumbled goat cheese and balsamic glaze. There are also a variety of subs, salads, wing sauces, cheesy breads, fries, and desserts.
There is no specific opening date just yet, but it is expected to be within the next 4-6 weeks. You can follow Anthony & Luca’s Tampa on Facebook to be sure you keep up with the latest. If you’re ready for a taste now, you can visit them daily at 4687 Park Blvd in Pinellas Park.
