A food truck so good it will make you “Slap Yo Mama”

The Tampa Bay region has one of the most thriving food truck scenes in the country. These concepts have become even more imperative as many have partnered with local breweries to help them reopen their tasting rooms. Slap Yo Mama Food Truck may be one of the most celebrated concepts in all of Tampa.

Lobster Mac and Cheese, bang bang shrimp, cheesesteak egg rolls, and Angus burgers are on menu here. Slap Yo Mama opened the doors of its first location on the corners of Waters and Anderson in Tampa, Florida in 2018.

The truck now pulls up at 3007 W Cypress and slings its sensational banana pudding to the public.

What’s in a name?

Slap Yo Mama is meant as a term of endearment. It signifies the unrivaled flavor of the food coming out of the truck. You can’t go wrong with the concepts delectable lemon pepper wings.

Wash it down with a radiant pink Hurricane lemonade. If that’s not enough, you can also sink your teeth into a massive pile of summer-ready lobster fries, or a massive chicken sandwich.

You can keep up by following the Food Truck on Instagram for daily teasers on new desserts and lunch specials. Check a full menu on Slap Yo Mama’s website.
