The walls are covered with pop culture icons. Kramer, Sonic the Hedgehog, Big Bird, Gizmo, Fight Club and more have found a place at the establishment located at 103 E Jackson Street.
Visitors will be able to play skee-ball, pinball, Ms. Pac Man and even Super Nintendo. Or you could just lounge with Furby or get lost in the infinity mirror. Yea, this place is a trip.
The menu will include 18 unique cocktails and 7 different shots. One of those cocktails is a boozy Capri Sun drink that we cannot wait to stick a straw into.
Best yet, GenX will have Dunkaroo Dip, which is all we’ve ever really wanted from a restaurant. While there will be plenty of bar bits to nom on, owner Dave Burton also mentioned a Richard Simmons inspired menu brimming with healthy food options.
GenX Tavern will soft open on Tuesday, April 30 and will host its Grand Opening on Saturday, May 4.
