Tampa now has a destination for fun and games with the opening of Mr. Putters, an indoor mini golf venue featuring three 18-hole courses. It’s now open at 11236 W Hillsborough Avenue and it’s open from 10am-9pm daily.
Each course offers wild and creative obstacles, including football fields, half pipes, a Mouse Trap homage, Connect 4, Pachinko, and a baseball field, among others. There’s even a pinball hole that harkens back to those classic, near-impossible-to-sink putts from Clown-inspired holes (alla Happy Gilmore).

One five-star review from James G on Yelp notes how the unique design elevates the experience: “As I played through the 18 holes of The Black Course, I was struck by how thoughtfully the challenges were designed. Some challenges force you to do a small activity as your first stroke. For example, one of the challenges forced me to navigate my ball down a sloped Fooseball table so I could better place my second shot. I’ve played a lot of miniature golf in my life, and I’ve never seen anything like that before. It was a fun new twist on the game.”
This might be the best new indoor, family-friendly hangout spot in the city. The owners first started teasing the concept back in June, showcasing greens designed to look like chess boards and air hockey tables. While the venue is family-friendly, we imagine these greens will pose a significant challenge to even the most seasoned golfer with a razor-sharp short game.
This joins Birdie Club as another air-conditioned hub to spend an afternoon with a golf club in hand.
