Water Street Tampa hosts pop-up pickleball courts this summer

Water Street Tampa is excited to announce the return of it pop-up pickleball series set to take place this summer and fall. The event will feature four pickleball courts provided by Tampa Pickleball Crew and will be open to the public free of charge on July 16, August 13, and September 9, from 9am to 9pm each day.

The courts will be located at Sparkman Wharf, 615 Channelside Dr, and will operate on a first-come, first-served basis. For those new to the sport, Water Street Tampa has arranged dedicated beginners’ hours from 9am-11am and 5pm-7pm during each event day. During these times, instructors from Tampa Pickleball Crew will be available to provide professional guidance and help beginners perfect their game.

All necessary equipment, including balls and paddles, will be provided to participants. This initiative aims to make pickleball accessible to everyone in the community and to promote an active lifestyle in a fun and social environment.
