Friends of the Riverwalk will celebrate July 4th with an array of events, including a boat parade, water ski show, Blessing of the Fleet, and a fireworks display. These festivities, part of the Star Spangled Banner celebrations, will take place at Sparkman Wharf (615 Channelside Dr). This joins Boom By the Bay at Julian B Lane Riverfront Park and Armature Works’ huge 4th of July riverfront concert.
The boat parade will follow a route similar to the holiday light boat parade but will feature additional highlights such as a water ski show to kick off the celebration, a poker run, and a blessing station for participating vessels. Boats will be festively adorned in red, white, and blue, competing for the best-decorated vessel. Registered boaters will receive prize bags for their participation.

VIP tickets are available for purchase, offering premium views of the water ski show, parade, and fireworks, along with seating, drinks, and food. Although umbrellas are permitted, attendees are advised that outside chairs and coolers are prohibited.
This event promises a day of vibrant celebration, bringing the community together to honor Independence Day with a spectacular display on the water.
