For the first time in 8 years the comedy and movie star Martin Lawrence is going on tour. The star of films such as Blue Streak, Bad Boys, and Do the Right Thing will perform live at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on December 15 at 8pm.

Social Media Presale is happening Thursday, May 16, at 10am — the password for tickets is ENCORE. The tour will follow the official release of Lawrences new movie Bad Boys: Ride or Die. Lawrence will be joined by special guests Daphnique Springs and Benji Brown.

In addition to his extensive filmography, Lawrence also starred in his own television series, Martin, which ran from 1992 to 1997. The star will also perform in Jacksonville and Hollywood during his stint in Florida.

Lawrence’s new stand-up show will be a “fresh one-hour set where Martin brings the real talk and finds the funny in everything from family to culture as only he can,” according to a press release.

“Comedy gives me that instant gratification,” Lawrence said in a press release. “Seeing the fans up close and in person, making people laugh, doing what I love most, this is what it’s all about for me. But hey … y’all know what it is!”
