One of the country’s hottest indie bands is making its way to Tampa Bay in the New Year. The BayCare Sound announced that indie rock group Wallows will be bring their Model & More Tour to Downtown Clearwater for a waterfront show on Sunday, February 23 at 7 pm.
Tickets for the show are available now, and we expect this one to be a hot item in the new year as Wallows continues its meteoric rise up the charts. This is the first show in the area for the L.A.-based trio of indie rockers, and it’s a phenomenal get for Tampa Bay to host the band in such an in intimate and scenic venue. Wallows have traveled the world with sold-out headline shows in North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia/New Zealand, alongside top-billed festival sets at Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits Music Festival, Coachella and more.
The group first burst onto the scene with their 2019 blockbuster debut album Nothing Happens, which earned RIAA Gold-certified status as it racked up more than 2 billion streams worldwide. The 3x Platinum-certified single, Are You Bored Yet? (Feat. Clairo) launched the band into stardom alongside Gold-certified hits, Scrawny and Remember When.
Wallows just released their third studio in the summer of 2024, which immediately topped the charts and gave the burgeoning group its first Top 40 single, Calling After Me. The newest album, titled Model, is the namesake of the Model and More Tour as Wallows showcases its crowd-favorite songs both past and present.
