The Tampa Theatre (711 N Franklin St) is my favorite place in the city. It’s also a clutch location during the hot summer months in the city. This time of year is when Tampa’s near 100-year-old movie palace hosts its Summer Classics Film Series. This year’s time-honored collection also has the distinction of each title being included in the National Film Registry as “culturally, historically or aesthetically significant films”.

Films will be screened at 3pm on Sundays beginning June 2, and tickets are $10. You can reserve tickets directly on the theatre’s website.
