Porter Airlines is expanding its Canadian routes from Tampa International Airport (TPA), offering more nonstop flights for the winter season. After debuting seasonal service between Tampa Bay and Toronto last year, the airline is doubling down with increased Toronto flights and new routes to Ottawa and Halifax.
In 2023, Porter began its Tampa-Toronto route with a single daily flight. As of October 27, service has resumed, and starting December 13, the airline will offer twice-daily flights between TPA and Toronto Pearson International Airport.

New nonstop international flights at TPA
APorter Airlines’ newest route connects TPA to Ottawa, Canada’s capital, with up to four flights per week. Additionally, starting December 5, travelers can enjoy three weekly flights between Tampa Bay and Halifax, a picturesque coastal city in Nova Scotia.
All Porter flights are operated with the state-of-the-art Embraer E195-E2 aircraft, which features 132 economy seats arranged in a comfortable two-by-two configuration—ensuring no middle seats.
Passengers can expect elevated onboard service, including:
- Complimentary Wi-Fi
- Free beer and wine
- A curated selection of premium snacks and food options
These new routes follow the exciting launch of nonstop service to Mexico City with AeroMexico and the extension of nonstop flights to Amsterdam. With these additions, Tampa International Airport continues to strengthen its position as a hub for international travel.
