Sesame brings fresh baked Long Island bagels to Hyde Park Village

Heads up, folks, there’s a brand new bagel shop in Tampa! Three Oaks Hospitality has announced their newest food spot, Sesame, is now open at 1500 W Swann Avenue. Open daily, Sesame is serving up freshly baked bagels sourced directly from Long Island. One of the hottest items on the menu has to be the pizza bagel (but like a more grown-up gourmet version of the quintessential 90s snack).

Their bagel shop offers flavors ranging from French Toast to Rainbow, and of course, classics such as sesame.

Sesame’s unique and creative spreads are made in-house, according to a press release from Three Oaks Hospitality. “Scallions are steeped, jalapeños are fire-roasted and bananas are flambéed to create some of the most delicious, flavorful spreads,” notes the Sesame team in that same release. “Seasonal varieties like the Pumpkin Spice spread will be available for a limited time.”

They will have vegan options. An avocado coconut spread will always be on the menu, according to the Sesame team.

“In working with WS Development we aimed to identify opportunities in the market, and a  boutique bagel shop was something missing in Tampa,” said Chas Bruck, owner, and founder of  Three Oaks Hospitality. “We curated something that fits perfectly in Hyde Park Village, and we  hope everyone agrees.”

This shop is also delivering big Long Island sandwiches to the area such as the Smookler, a fresh take on the classic lox and bagel.

Sesame welcomes guests daily; Monday to Sunday from 7am to 2pm, with hours to be extended to serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the coming months. Learn more on the bagel shop’s website.
