The Savannah Bananas – March 15, 2025
Raymond James Stadium will host the Savannah Bananas for a one-night extravaganza on Saturday, March 15. Originally scheduled for Tropicana Field, the Bananas moved the event due to the impact of Hurricane Milton, making this their first-ever game in an NFL stadium. Breakaway Music Festival – April 25-26, 2025
The huge touring electronic music festival, Breakaway, returns to Raymond James Stadium on April 25-26, 2025. Tickets are on sale now, and the official lineup will be announced this winter. The event drew massive crowds to the region last spring.
Breakaway launched in 2016 in Columbus, Ohio, with dance and hip-hop acts including Alison Wonderland, Dillon Francis, Rae Sremmurd and RL Grime. Founded by Ruben and Adam Lynn, the event is focused on college towns, modeling itself as a dance and pop-driven Vans Warped Tour and bringing an approachable high-end dance experience to underserved markets.
Metallica M72 Tour – June 6 & 8, 2025
Metallica’s highly anticipated M72 World Tour is set to hit Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium on June 6 and June 8, 2025, bringing fans a unique concert experience. Each night will feature a different lineup of opening acts, with Limp Bizkit and Ice Nine Kills on the first night, and Pantera and Suicidal Tendencies on the second. A portion of ticket sales will benefit local charities through the band’s foundation, All Within My Hands. Tickets are available online.
Florida vs Georgia – Fall 2027
The University of Florida (UF), the University of Georgia (UGA), and Tampa Bay officials have announced that the iconic Florida-Georgia Football Weekend will move to Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium for the 2027 season due to stadium renovations in Jacksonville. “The Florida-Georgia game is one of college football’s greatest spectacles, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to host in 2027,” said Rob Higgins, Executive Director of the Tampa Bay Sports Commission. “Tampa Bay has a deep appreciation for college football, and this game will play a major role in our community’s next chapter.”
