Quality Foods Market is an aptly named gem in Tampa. I’d call it a hidden gem but with perfect 5-star reviews on OpenTable, it seems the secret is out. For the second year in a row, it has earned the top Diners Choice slot in the Tampa metro area. You can visit the market and restaurant at 16307 N Florida Avenue. You can see a full list of Diners Choice Award recipients in Tampa here. The best overall restaurants include Psomi, Paul’s Fusion Kitchen, and Caffee Paradiso.

The market/restaurant offers a unique culinary experience, featuring authentic Italian cuisine, in a relaxed, elevated casual, and intimate atmosphere. Enjoy a seasonally-inspired, from-scratch menu, featuring both classic and modern pastas; hand-cut steaks from USDA Certified Premium Hereford Heritage 1881 Beef; New Zealand Lamb Chops; USDA Certified Prime Veal; and the freshest seafood available flown in from around the world throughout the week.

Quality Foods Market offers a curated wine list with selections from all over the world, and an unrivaled craft and imported beer selection.

Executive Chef Christopher Houp takes the time to interact with every guest throughout the dining experience, taking the Chef’s Table concept to a whole new level. Tables are limited, with just 16 seats inside, and an additional 16 seats for al fresco dining. Their guests are treated to a true Italian dining experience, as they allow a minimum of three hours between reservations.
