Chef Chris Ponte is renowned for his restaurants On Swann in Hyde Park Village and Olivia Restaurant. The Chef announced his newest venture, Ponte Tampa, back in the summer of 2021. This anticipated foodie concept will debut at the always buzzed about Midtown Tampa development later in 2022, though an official opening timeline is still TBA.
“As the second coming of Cafe Ponte, both new and longtime patrons will welcome this updated take,” wrote Chef Chris Ponte in an announcement on Instagram. “[Ponte Tampa] will be offering an elegant array of Modern American cuisine, including a premium selection of steaks and local seafood.”
