Tampa’s PIrate Water Taxi is one of our favorite ways to commute between Tampa Heights and Water Street. Each season, the water taxi service creates a special themed experience for guests to enjoy. During the most magical time of the year, Pirate Water Taxi hosts its River of Lights cruise. These events are set for November 26, December 3, December 10, December 17, and December 24.
Hop on Tampa’s Pirate Water Taxi tour of holiday lights, decorations, and festive storytelling along the Hillsborough River including a special visit to Santa’s elf. This family-friendly event will include a holiday river tour with prime viewing of the floating holiday displays, a Christmas Caroler leading sing-a-longs, and a visit to elf on the “barge”.

Every child will have an opportunity to write a letter to Santa and drop it off in Tampa’s only floating mail buoy. There are sure to be many surprises along the way including Florida snow flurries and stockings for every child on the nice list.
Each cruise lasts 45 minutes, and cruise times are 6:15pm, 7:15pm, 8:15pm, and 9:15pm. You can reserve tickets in advance online.
