Krate at The Grove in Wesley Chapel has added a brand new sweet shop to its roster: Paleta Mia (5854 Goldview Parkway). The locally owned shop specializes in handcrafted popsicles made with natural ingredients. They also offer vegan and gluten free options. In addition to pops made with fresh fruit, Paleta Mia has waffle sticks covered in an array of toppings available.

Co-owners Luis Ledezma and his wife Olimar Cedeno have poured their heart and soul into this business. In an interview with Neighborhood News, the owners said the dessert shop itself is dedicated to their 14-year-old daughter Mia.

Ledezma and Cedeno also operate Mojo Grill at KRATE. Paleta Mia is the sweet counterpart to the latin fusion restaurant. The spot offers milkshakes, chocolate drizzled waffle sticks, kiwi, dragonfruit and pineapple pops, fresh agua frescas,  and dulce de leche pops with Nutella and topped with chocolate.

I highly recommend the watermelon Fresca for walking around KRATE. It’s refreshing walking fuel. Follow Paleta Mia on Instagram for new updates on new flavors.
