Famous New York bagel shop opening in Tampa

Editor’s note: Based on its Google listing, an earlier version of this article stated that the bagel shop would open in January. However, the shop’s representatives have clarified that the opening will not occur until sometime in the spring or summer of 2025. We will update this article as more information becomes available.

In 2025, H&H Bagels will bring its famous New York goodies to Tampa at 1155 South Dale Mabry Highway. No official opening date has been revealed, but representatives with H&H are optimistic it will open this spring/early summer.

H&H Bagels, the beloved New York institution founded in 1972, is bringing its legendary bagels to Tampa. Known for its chewy, kettle-boiled bagels made with New York’s signature tap water, H&H has become a staple of the Upper West Side—and a pop culture icon, thanks to Seinfeld and Sex and the City.

A taste of New York in Tampa

Now, Tampa residents can enjoy the same authentic bagels without flying to Manhattan. H&H’s bagels are made with the original dough, hand-rolled and kettle-boiled in New York, then shipped to Tampa for the final step. It’s the real deal—authentic New York bagels right here in Florida.
