Tampa is going to the dogs, and we love it! Paws’ n’ Rec is hosting a pop-up dog park and off-leash Biergarten with Common Dialect Beerworks and Health Mutt this Saturday, January 11 (location: 5023 N. Florida Ave). The grassy parking area will temporarily become a haven for dogs to roam while their humans enjoy drinks and food from local vendors. The fun continues on Sunday with a Chili Festival. It is a two-day celebration of food, drinks, and furry friends!
This event, hosted by three local businesses—Paws’ n’ Rec, a top-rated doggy daycare and camp; Common Dialect Beerworks, a local craft brewery; and Health Mutt, a pet store and grooming spot—showcases some of Tampa’s diverse offerings.

The health benefits of playtime for your pups
This event allows dogs to socialize and play in a controlled environment. According to studies cited by the American Kennel Club, regular socialization and outdoor playtime can significantly improve a dog’s physical and mental health. Playtime with other dogs helps reduce stress and build confidence—an ideal way to kick off 2025! This event is a great chance for dogs to play while their owners connect with the Tampa community.
This weekend, with FREE entry for those 21 and older, is set to be an engaging and memorable experience for both dogs and humans.
