Palazzo Pizza, located at 1818 W Platt Street, dishes up the flavors of Italy to Tampa.
Is there anything more refreshing than a fresh slice of pizza on spring day? We think not, so when it comes to pizza concepts in Tampa we believe it’s “the more the merrier.”

Palazzo Pizza brings inspiration from Boston and Italy to W. Platt Street. This level of enthusiasm and exubrance is evident in every single pie that comes out of the kitchen at the restaurant.
Since opening just a few short weeks ago the restaurant has received nearly all perfect 5-star reviews.
Here’s what one diner, Mitchell E., had to write on Yelp:
This up-and-coming, family owned and operated restaurant in Hyde Park’s most popular district offers a variety of Tampa Bay’s favorite pizzas, salads, and antipastas at an incredibly reasonable price. Palazzo staff members kindly, quickly, and repeatedly provide unrivaled customer service with every order. The talented pizza chef prepares the orders extremely quickly for such high quality pizza with fresh ingredients. Although everything that I have eaten from Palazzo Pizza has exceeded expectations, I think that my favorite choices are: the White Pizza, the Margherita Pizza, the specialty Buffalo Chicken Pizza, Both salads (Greek and Tampa Italian), and the Chicken Parm Sandwich. With exceptional food and customer service, this establishment additionally offers a variety of delivery and take-out options that I find extremely beneficial during COVID-19. The pick-up window allows quick and easy take-out orders without stepping foot into the restaurant.
Kevin A. from St. Petersburg said it’s well worth the trip over the Howard Frankland Bridge:
“The crust is delicious and has a great chew. High quality ingredients and reasonable prices. I’m picky about my pizza and this is a pie worth traveling for. We ate very well and will be repeat customers. Palazzo Pizza deserves the community’s support.”
One guest remarked that Plazzo made the best meat lover’s pizza they ever had. Many have gone on to praise the Lion Pizza, Palazzo’s own version of the Margherita Pizza with pepperoni.
Save room for dessert, folks, because the Cinnamon Toast Crunch is certainly calling all of our names. No, it’s not just a bowl of the famous breakfast cereal. The Cinnamon Toast Crunch is deep-fried dough covered in cinnamon sugar and topped with maple syrup. It’s the decadent delight you deserve.
A Nutella and caramel pizza pie is also on the menu if you’re craving a super sweet slice.
This spot also kicks it old school. Palazzo has a to-go windows where you can order pizza by the slice. They also serve up a heart chicken parm. sandwich, and an Italian sausage sandwich if your cravings really start to kick in.
