Manga Tea, an anime-themed boba tea bar that also serves up a ton of mochi ice cream, has wowed visitors in Tampa. If you’ve never been, it’s located 5330 Ehrlich Road Suite 133. This boba tea hot spot is covered in pages pulled from some of the most influential Manga ever crafted. Now it’s expanding to Hudson, Florida at 8814 SR 52. An opening timeline for the second location is TBA. Follow Manga Tea on Instagram for updates.

The term manga is used in Japan to refer to comics and cartooning. Some of the most popular Manga titles include One Punch Man, Berserk, Naruto, Death Note, One Piece, and Bleach.

Owner Pengatakoon notes that Manga Tea is also committed to sustainability. “One of the ways we’re working towards sustainability is by using eco-friendly packaging…We use biodegradable cups, lids, and straws that are made from plants, which means they’re not only better for the environment, but they’re also safe for consumption.”
