COVID-19 cases continue to spike in the Sunshine State. Florida is making headlines the world over as the epicenter of the coronavirus pandemic. On Sunday, July 12, the state reported 15,299 new coronavirus cases, making it the largest single day spike in the nation since the start of the pandemic.
There are currently more than 269,000 confirmed cases in the state, with more than 4,000 reported deaths. More than 18,000 residents are currently hospitalized across the state.

Hillsborough County accounts for 19,150 cases with 817 hospitalizations.
The city has put in mandates and directives to help minimize the spread of COVID-19, including a mask mandate.
The following sites will provide masks to individual residents from 8am-5pm daily while supplies last:

Al Barnes Park – 2902 N. 32nd St.
New Tampa Community Center 17302 Commerce Park Blvd
Individuals may receive two masks each. One individual may pick up an order for one’s immediate family members.
Businesses can receive the necessary quantities for staff and customers to safely conduct business. Businesses will document order quantities & business information via a form upon pick up.
