Chicken tenders are a menu staple for many restaurants. It’s a simple pleasure enjoyed by many, and one concept, Raising Cane’s, fully commits to the treat. Raising Cane’s was originally founded in Baton Rouge, LA in 1996 by Todd Graves. Since then the fast food chain has expanded with locations across the US, and it’s finally coming to Florida. The chicken tender giant is set to open 2525 Gulf to Bay Blvd in Clearwater on Tuesday, January 31.
At the end of 2021, the company announced it will open a flagship location in Miami’s South Beach area. A larger Florida expansion is in the works. The company is eyeing locations in Tampa, and St. Pete. Raising Cane’s could open nearly two dozen locations in the Sunshine State in the coming years.
