Chicken tenders are a menu staple for menu restaurants. It’s a simple pleasure enjoyed by many, and one concept, Raising Cane’s, fully commits to the treat. Raising Cane’s was originally founded in Baton Rouge, LA in 1996 by Todd Graves. Since then the fast food chain has expanded with locations across the US, and it’s finally coming to Florida.
At the end of 2021, the company announced it will open a flagship location in Miami’s South Beach area. That location should open this February.
This is part of Raising Cane’s plan for a statewide expansion. Raising Cane’s could open nearly two dozen locations in the Sunshine State, with the Tampa Bay region heavily on its radar.
The best chicken tenders you’ve ever tried
They vaguely alluded to opening a location in Tampa, but have already landed on a spot in Clearwater at 2525 Gulf to Bay Boulevard. An opening timeline is still TBA.
Cane’s promises that all chicken tenders are made to order. Each batch of chicken tenders is brushed with Raising Cane’s special marinade, and fried in a special Canola Oil mix. The tenders are served with Cane’s special sauce (a tangy treat for your taste buds).
