Bar Bouzy is one of the most anticipated new bars coming to Tampa. This chic space situated in Hyde Park Village right next door to Hyde House and Public Studio is dedicated to fine spirits. While an official opening date is still TBA, Bar Bouzy is ready to pop up next door for a special tasting titled “Bouzy Bubble Party.” The event is set for November 11 and tickets are available online.
“Hosted at neighboring Hyde House, come join this black, white and gold themed party to celebrate the upcoming opening of Bouzy – Champagne & Cocktail Bar,” write the owners. The party will include an open bar with champagne, cocktails, wine, and beer. Additionally expect to enjoy live music, a grazing table, and h’orderves. Come pop bottles with Bouzy while overlooking the beautiful Hyde Park Village.

For those curious about the origins of the Bouzy name, the owners explain. “In France, in a sub region which produces the world’s best bubbly, you can find our name sake: the vineyard village of Bouzy. This town, with less than a thousand residents, lives in perpetual celebration of champagne. We like their style.” With this in mind, the owners hope to bring a timeless experience to Hyde Park.

They continue: “Bouzy blends elevated elegance with poppy effervescence to embody the timeless spirit of our favorite drink. Our fizz-first menu features a thoughtfully curated selection of champagnes, pét-nats, craft cocktails, and small plates. Whether you’re a beginner or an enthusiast, our sommelier-trained bartenders will help you find and pop the perfect bottle so that you can toast tonight, any night.”
