Leading Tampa-based real estate development firm Strategic Property  Partners, LLC (“SPP”) today announces Asher, a dynamic, highly amenitized new apartment tower at 1050  Water Street in Water Street Tampa, the 56-acre neighborhood transforming downtown Tampa into a  walkable urban experience. In addition to offering a collection of rental residences, SPP has partnered with  Method Co., the celebrated Philadelphia-based hospitality company, to bring Tampa the first Florida  location of their high-design extended-stay concept, ROOST Apartment Hotel, at Asher.

Pre-leasing at  Asher will begin in January with move-ins slated for March, and ROOST Tampa will open in the building in  Spring 2022.

Comfort and practicality with co-working office space

Designed inside and out by celebrated architecture firm Morris Adjmi Architects, the building offers a nod  to Tampa’s industrial history with oversized divided-light windows that maximize natural light. Asher’s luxury rental residences will be located on the top 15 floors of the building, while ROOST Tampa will occupy the  first six residential floors. Asher will offer 490 thoughtfully designed rental residences ranging from studio  to two-bedroom homes.

The development’s curated amenity collection is designed to foster community and encourage socialization  among residents, and includes Water Street Tampa’s largest pool deck, a dynamic rooftop space complete  with cabanas, outdoor kitchens, an indoor-outdoor bar and an entertainment lawn. Inside, the expansive  amenity suite includes a state-of-the-art fitness center, entertainment space, a screening lounge and a co working space with private conference rooms.

Blending the comfort and practicality of an apartment with the amenities and concierge services of a  boutique hotel, ROOST Tampa will provide an elevated hotel option for those looking to stay longer in  Tampa. ROOST Tampa will offer 97 studio, one- and two-bedroom homes, as well as select co-living units.  Offering a move-in ready experience, ROOST Tampa homes will feature fully equipped kitchens, modern  appliances and furniture inspired by the rich heritage of Latin America that is prevalent throughout Tampa’s  neighborhoods, and pieces from designers including Beni Rugs, Luteca, Menu, and Gubi.

Method Co. will bring their award-winning hospitality expertise to Asher, where they will service the  building’s extensive suite of amenities, including a 24-hour concierge for all residents at Asher. Residents  will enjoy a world-class hospitality-oriented experience from the industry leader known for a hands-on,  detail-oriented approach.

“We couldn’t be more thrilled to be working with SPP as they transform Water Street Tampa into one of the  most exciting new urban centers in the country,” said Randall Cook, CEO and Co-Founder of Method Co.

“ROOST Water Street will be our largest and most ambitious ROOST project to date, and our first location  in Florida. This exceptional project will offer the opportunity to live in an incredible building with all the  luxuries, amenities and services of modern living.”

Upbeat, inclusive spirit in Water Street Tampa

Located along the neighborhood’s namesake and main thoroughfare, Asher embraces the energy of the  lively Water Street Tampa neighborhood. The building’s name draws inspiration from ash trees, which  symbolize creative expression, productivity, strength and longevity, as well as the Hebrew word for happy.  Embodying all of these elements, Asher offers an upbeat, inclusive spirit built around community and shared  social experiences for residents.

As part of the larger Water Street Tampa neighborhood, Asher will place residents in the heart of a vibrant  live-work-play neighborhood with everything they need at their fingertips. SPP announced earlier this year  that Wagamama, the international Asian-inspired restaurant brand, will open its first Florida location in the  building in early 2022. Asher also provides residents with convenient access to the city’s best cultural,  dining and entertainment options, including the Tampa Riverwalk, Amalie Arena, the Florida Aquarium and  Sparkman Wharf, Water Street Tampa’s popular waterfront dining, office and community gathering  destination.
